Hey, my name is Meghan St. Jean I am 18 years old and I am a freshman here at URI. I plan on majoring in elementary education. I want to become a 2nd grade teacher in the future, after I graduate. I have been a dancer for 13 years and am looking to join the URI dance company. I love working with children, and was a student helper at my dance studio for 5 years. I am from Methuen, Massachusetts, which is just north of Boston. And, I went to a high school that had no walls! I am one of two children, my brother is a sophomore in high school. I come from a very large extended family and love being around children. I am very friendly and can easily get along with anyone. I am often shy until I get to know the person. I love to help others. I am creative and enjoy doing art related projects.
